Wednesday Words

So here we are, Happy Hump Day Everyone. This is how Wednesday Words originated, to help you through the hump in the week that is Wednesday, with inspiring and motivating quotes!

Today's quote is taken from the film The Art Of Flight, a film about iconic snowboarder Travis Rice and friends. The film is full of jaw dropping footage, an incredible soundtrack and is shot in some of the most beautiful places on the planet. If you haven't seen it, I highly advice you watch it, their dedication and motivation to live life to it's greatest is truly inspiring!

Colour Of The Week: Independence

This week's Colour of the Week might seem like an odd one to many, given it's summer.. but I really love navy in the summer..

Teamed with brights or pastels I really love the soothing feel of this washed out navy colour.. I hope the colour palettes I've created and shared below inspire you!

Allium Inspiration

I've always loved Alliums but this year I planted loads in our garden and I've become fascinated by all the little details that makes up the beautiful head! As the weathers been nice I've also been out in the garden everyday and it's been fascinating watching them develop!

I managed to get take this photo below which I felt really conveyed the colours, shapes and explosion feel of an Allium.. I also made and shared a little colour palette from the Alliums, hope it inspires you!

Summer.. is that you..?

The weather here currently is beautiful so I have been trying to make the most of it! BBQ's, walks in the sunshine and working outside by doing photoshoots and drawing on the patio.. it's been glorious!

It's lovely outside drawing surrounded by beautiful flowers..

And, at the end of the day, what better than fresh British strawberries.. Delicious!!

Sometimes in life it can feel like all the doors you open are being slammed back in your face so it's good to believe that life is just sending you in a different, better, direction!
