Spoonflower Custom Gift Wrap

Spoonflower have been at it again! Adding yet more dream-worthy and exciting new features to their site! Now on top of custom fabric, wallpaper and wall decal printing, you can order custom printed rolls of Gift Wrap!

It looks like the gift wrap feature is a holiday special, so if you want some get in there quickly! Although I imagine that if sales go well they will continue to provide the feature.

I've always wanted to produce and sell my designs as gift wrap, and yet again Spoonflower has provided the opportunity!

Cornish mini break

I just got back from a quick trip to Cornwall, my family have a house down there and it is great to be able to pop down and enjoy some Cornish culture for a few days!

We left in such a hurry that I forgot to take my camera! It was actually nice because I didn't feel like I had to take it out every day and it made me more relaxed to look at different things and observe interesting colours, textures and patterns!

Corrupted

My computer has been doing some very strange things recently, Illustrator can no longer export to PNG without crashing and creating a corrupted file.. It's quite annoying.

It also corrupted some of my holiday photos, which is also very annoying, but while I was browsing through I started to notice that some of the corrupted photos are quite interesting so I thought I would share a few!

Not understanding the technical side of why the images have corrupted or what it does to them, I find it really interesting how sometimes it muddles up sections, adds colours (where does it even get these colours from?!) or bleaches the image..

I'm back!

I'm back from a super fantastic holiday!

Getting back to routine and beating the jet lag has been hard but it's great taking inspiration from my trip to create new designs! Updates with what I've been up to and new designs coming soon!

I'm off for a Canadian adventure for a couple of weeks, back in a few weeks!

Just so you can be jealous (and I can get excited) this is where I'm going!

A quick trip to Cornwall..

Last week I went down to Cornwall for a quick break before returning to uni for what is going to be a crazy busy 3rd year. We have a holiday house in St Ives so it's almost like my second home, I have spent so much time there over the years with many happy memories!

We didn't take the camera out much as it was raining a lot of the time we were there but here are a few photos from the occassion we did actually take it out!

I just LOVE Cornwall in the Autumn! Rough seas, brisk winds, rain, snuggling up inside, costal walks.. just perfect.
